This policy identifies the procedure for the Program fee structures, payment options, cancellations, refund processing, transfers, substitutions, and student non-attendance to ensure consistency for all stakeholders.
Program An education learning experience; and not limited to a Short Course, Course, Program, Masterclass, Workshop, Lesson, Class.
Payee The person who identified as the Payee on the processing of the enrolment payment.
The Program fee stipulated at enrolment is the maximum fee that is charged and includes GST (where applicable). The Program fee excludes payment processing fees, which may vary between pre-approved payment provider services.
Program fees can be paid by credit card, EFTPOS, electronic funds transfer, cash, or by a pre-approved payment provider e.g. Zip, Study Loans.
All Program fees must be paid in full at enrolment to gain access to the educational content and / or to secure a practical training position. Non-payment of a Program fee results in the cancellation of the enrolment.
In the event a student withdraws or cancels their enrolment, after receiving access to the Program educational resources; the student is not eligible for a refund and forfeits all Program fees.
Should a student be directly impacted by a COVID-19 illness or situation, or an event, and cannot attend their scheduled Program, the student will be re-scheduled to another date. Evidence of the circumstance is required. The student is not eligible for a refund.
It is the intention of the Esteem Academy to provide training and assessment services to all students. If a training Program is cancelled or postponed, the Esteem Academy will advise all students and participants as soon as practicable prior to Program commencement.
All training Programs are devised for a minimum number of 2-students, and the Esteem Academy reserves the right to postpone or re-schedule a Program to another date if the minimum number of students within the Program is not achieved. Students are not eligible for a refund.
Should the Esteem Academy be directly impacted by a COVID-19 illness, situation, or an event; the Esteem Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule a Program. Should the Esteem Academy cancel, postpone or re-schedule a Program due to the impact of COVID-19, the student has a choice to be re-scheduled to another Program; or is eligible for a full refund, excluding payment processing fees.
Refunds will be refunded to the Payee and will not be provided to a third party and will be refunded using the same mode of payment. An approved refund will be processed within 30 days.
A student who fails to attend a scheduled Program will not be allocated to another Program, will not be eligible for a refund, and / or will not be issued with a Certificate of Completion or Certificate of Attendance.
Transfer from a student to another person is not applicable.
The Academy reserves the right to change Program fees, dates, content, campus location or facilitators at its discretion.
The Academy reserves the right to record, via video and/or audio, learning sessions for quality assurance purposes and to support students.

The policy sets out our commitment to comply with the Queensland State Government directive, ‘Workers in a healthcare setting (COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements) Direction (No. 2)’ that mandates workers in a healthcare setting, their employers and responsible persons must be COVID-19 vaccinated.
The Policy applies to all Esteem Academy staff members, contract educators and students.
The Esteem Academy is considered a medical facility, therefore, all staff members, contract educators and students on the premises must be double vaccinated for COVID-19.
