Dr. Terrence Scamp is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over thirty years of knowledge in cosmetic plastic surgery. Beyond refining his own expertise, he has actively contributed to the growth of fellow practitioners through teaching, lecturing and mentoring.
Dr Scamp’s journey in medicine began at the University of Queensland, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. After graduation, he completed his internship at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. During his initial years in the medical field, he gained valuable experience in a range of specialties, such as vascular, orthopaedic, neurosurgery and general surgery.
In 1986, Dr. Scamp’s focus shifted towards plastic and reconstructive surgery. His lifelong focus on this field began with his training at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. The following year, Dr. Scamp returned to Princess Alexandra Hospital to further hone his skills in cosmetic plastic surgery.
Dr. Terrence Scamp played a significant role as a member of the investigative team that registered a group of injectable fillers in Australia. He later became a trainer in injectables and was part of a specialist collective on advisory boards concerning the use of toxins and fillers.
As the Founder of Esteem Academy, Dr. Scamp has dedicated his career to the education and mentorship of future surgeons and cosmetic practitioners.
